Entry Fee
The competition is open to students of state educational institutions of culture and art, as well as amateurs and practicing musicians. The competition is held in five independent categories:


PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
A – CLASSICAL PERFORMANCE (Solo)
• Kids I: Under 9 years (free program up to 5 min)
• Kids II: 10 – 12 years (free program up to 5 min)
• Junior: 13 – 15 years (free program up to 10 min)
• Junior II: 16 – 19 years (free program up to 15 min)
• Senior: 20 – 26 years (free program up to 20 min)
• Senior II: 27 years and older (free program up to 20 min)

B – POP & JAZZ PERFORMANCE (Solo)
• Junior: 13 – 15 years (free program up to 10 min)
• Junior II: 16 – 19 years (free program up to 10 min)
• Senior: 20 – 26 years (free program up to 15 min)
• Senior II: 27 years and older (free program up to 15 min)
C – PIANO ENSEMBLE (Duet)
• Kids I: Under 9 years (up to 5 min)
• Kids II: 10 – 12 years (up to 5 min)
• Junior: 13 – 15 years (up to 10 min)
• Junior II: 16 – 19 years (up to 10 min)
• Senior: 20 – 26 years (up to 15 min)

D – PIANO ACCOMPANIMENT
• Junior: Under 20 years (up to 10 min)

E – ORGAN PERFORMANCE (Solo)
• Junior: Under 20 years (up to 10 min)
• Senior: 21 years and older (up to 15 min)
The competition video must be recorded in one single take without any editing or sound processing
Home recording is allowed, as well as the use of previously recorded performances no older than 6 months
A shorter performance duration than specified in the regulations is permitted
The 1st International Online Piano Competition "PIANO AWARD" is organized and conducted by the international online music education platform demusic.online (LLP "DEMUSIC.ONLINE", Reg. No. 230140040554, OKED 85520 "Education in the field of culture") in cooperation with partners and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The prize fund of the "DE MUSIC | PIANO AWARD" competition is 500 USD. The prize fund is awarded to participants who unanimously receive the highest score (Grand Prix) and may be distributed among several winners.

ANDREY KUDRYAKOV

Andrey Kudryakov is an internationally renowned concert pianist, Professor of the Piano Department at Nantong University (China), and Doctor of Musical Arts. From 2016 to 2018, he was a teacher at the University of Music in Guangdong (Guangzhou, China). From 2018 to 2021, he served as the Head of the Piano Department at the College of Music under the Xinghai Conservatory (Zhuhai, China). From 2021 to 2022, he was the Head of the Music Department at the Music Academy in Shenzhen, China.


Andrey Kudryakov serves on the jury of international competitions in China and across the globe, including international piano competitions in Asia, Hong Kong, Japan, Melbourne, Russia, California, and Italy. He actively tours with concerts in China (Liaoning, Guangdong, Sichuan, Guizhou, Shandong, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hainan, etc.), Russia, Italy, Poland, Greece, and other countries. His performances take place on world-renowned stages, and his masterclasses are highly valued by both students and professionals.


Andrey Kudryakov is the official representative of the Kabalevsky Competition in China, promoting the strengthening of cultural ties between Russia and China in the fields of music education and performing arts.


As part of his professional development, he attended masterclasses by world-renowned pianists such as Lang Lang, Denis Matsuev, Mikhail Pletnev, Ekaterina Mechetina, Nasedkin, Ovchinnikov, and others. This allowed him not only to refine his technique but also to build a unique repertoire, including solo works, chamber music, and more than 20 piano concertos.
