Participants
Students of state educational institutions of culture and arts, as well as amateur and professional musicians, are invited to participate in the competition.
To participate, it is necessary to submit a video recording of a free program consisting of one or two pieces of the participant’s choice.
The recording must be made without editing or sound processing.

Age Categories:
I – 5 to 7 years old
II – 8 to 10 years old
III – 11 to 14 years old
IV – 15 to 19 years old
V – 20 to 25 years old
VI – 26 years old and older (no age limit)

Program Requirements for Solo and Ensemble Performance:

• Categories I, II, III: free program of up to 5 minutes
• Categories IV, V, VI: free program of up to 10 minutes

Participants may perform one or two pieces of their choice.

V Category – Professionals (active choir masters and orchestra conductors)

Program Requirements for Choral and Orchestral Conducting:
I–II Categories – Free program of up to 7 minutes
III–V Categories – Free program of up to 15 minutes

• One or two works of the participant’s choice.

• Complete the online application form on the competition website via the provided link.
Applications are accepted until November 14, 2025 (inclusive).
• Upload a video of your performance to any public cloud storage (Google Drive / Yandex Disk) and attach the link in the application form.
The video must be recorded no earlier than six months before submission.
• Pay the entry fee using the payment details provided by the organizers.
All information provided during registration will appear in the award materials exactly as entered. If you need to make corrections to your registration details, please contact the organizing committee at hrdemusic@gmail.com submitting an application, you accept and agree to the competition terms and conditions.
The competition dates may be adjusted by the organizers if necessary.

Vocal Category:
A – Solo: 20 USD
B – Duet: 25 USD
C – Ensemble: 35 USD
D – Choir: 45 USD

Conducting Category:
I, II categories – 25 USD
III, IV, V categories – 35 USD

Musicality and stage culture, artistic interpretation of the musical piece, correspondence of the repertoire to the performer’s abilities and age category, and other factors.
Evaluation is carried out on a 10-point scale by determining the average score.
The decision of the Jury is final and not subject to review

The prize fund of the “DE Music Award” competition amounts to 1,500 USD.
It is awarded to participants who receive the highest unanimous score (Grand Prix) and may be distributed among all categories.

Member of the Presidium of the All-Russian Choral Society, creator of the largest online music score archive — “Boris Tarakanov Sheet Music Archive”.
Recipient of the Presidential Grant of the Russian Federation in the field of culture and arts.

The IV International Online Competition of Vocal, Ensemble, and Conducting Mastery “DE Music Award” is organized and conducted by the international online music education platform demusic.online (LLP “DEMUSIC.ONLINE” 230140040554, General Classifier of Economic Activities: 85520 “Education in the field of culture”), in collaboration with partners and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The competition aims to identify talented soloists, vocal ensembles, choir conductors, and orchestra conductors for the purpose of supporting and developing their artistic potential.
